Well it's been way too long since I've done something for this little novel of mine.... I think I hit a writers block but I have begun figuring out a way around it. The next few pages that will come up with simply be stuff I've done before said blockage appeared.

It's crazy that it's chapter 3 already! It seems almost too soon, but at the same time, it seems fantastic to still have the story going somewhere! Also I've suddenly done 40+ pages of work on this...insane!! So, we are now at the point of no return! There's only research and information to collect from here on in....this could be tricky, but hopefully worth it!

Why yes, it is as it says. This page is one of my favourite illustrations from the story so far! As I have been keeping printouts in a folder, I came to the point (conveniently at the end of the chapter) in which I needed a new folder. I created the page with the idea of making it into another cover, but the text would have, in my current opinion, ruined it, so I left it. Onwards to another folder of "To the Edge of the Plank and Back"!

This is my attempt to draw the characters younger...this shows the two brothers...maybe 10 years ago (?). Jacob is naturally a stocky build, so this should be an explanation as to why he was asked to "get some food into him".
